In these terms, “ACPrices.ca”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean ACPrices.ca and its owners. “Partner”, “you” and “your” mean the business applying to, or taking part in, the ACPrices.ca Contractor Partner Program.
1. The Program
The Contractor Partner Program sends quote requests from homeowners who use ACPrices.ca to independent, licensed heating and cooling contractors. Taking part is currently free. We don’t charge sign-up fees, monthly fees or per-lead fees, and we don’t take a commission on work you complete.
We may introduce a paid plan in the future. If that happens, we’ll email active partners at least 30 days beforehand, and you can leave the program before any fees start. We may also update these terms from time to time and will give at least 30 days’ email notice of any material change.
2. Who Can Join
Your company must be registered with the TSSA, keep WSIB coverage in good standing (or hold a valid exemption), and carry commercial general liability insurance of at least $2,000,000.
You give us permission to verify the details and documents you submit.
You’ll tell us promptly if a licence, registration or insurance policy expires, is suspended or changes.
We decide, at our discretion, whether to accept or decline an application.
3. Quote Requests
A homeowner’s request may be sent to up to two (2) partners who cover the relevant city and type of work.
We don’t guarantee how many requests you’ll receive, their quality or how many turn into jobs. Volume depends on things outside our control, such as season, search traffic and demand.
Homeowner information is confidential. Use it only to respond to that homeowner’s request. Don’t sell it, share it or add it to a marketing list without the homeowner’s permission.
Your quotes, prices, contracts and workmanship are your own responsibility.
4. Your Company Profile
You allow us to show the logo, photos, descriptions and other material you send us on ACPrices.ca to promote your business.
You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, everything you submit.
We may edit profile text for length, clarity and accuracy, and decide how and where partners appear on the site.
5. Use of the Verified Partner Badge
Approved partners may use the ACPrices.ca Verified Partner badge on their website and marketing material.
Any other use of our name, logo or content, or any suggestion that we endorse a particular offer, needs our written permission.
The badge must be taken down within 14 days of leaving or being removed from the program.
6. Limitation of Liability
The program is provided “as is”. We aren’t a party to any agreement between you and a homeowner and aren’t responsible for disputes about your work. We aren’t liable for requests that are missed or delayed because of technical problems, third-party services or other events outside our reasonable control. Please tell us right away if requests stop arriving or something on your profile looks wrong.
7. Leaving or Removal
You can leave the program at any time by emailing us. Please follow up on any requests you’ve already received.
We may suspend or remove a partner with notice, or immediately for serious or repeated complaints, lapsed licences or insurance, or a breach of these terms.
8. Code of Conduct
Homeowners trust the contractors they find on ACPrices.ca. We check in with them after their project, and every partner agrees to:
Respond quickly. Reach out to new requests during business hours, ideally the same day.
Be clear about who you are. Always present yourself as your own company, never as ACPrices.ca.
Quote honestly. Size and recommend equipment based on the home’s needs, with no high-pressure selling.
Be on time. Keep appointments, or call ahead if you need to reschedule.
Stay professional. Make sure your team is courteous and respectful with every homeowner.
Stand behind your work. Deal promptly with any problems after an installation.
Respect other partners. Don’t make negative claims about other ACPrices.ca partner contractors.
